This Research Topic will provide a review of what is currently known about changes in vestibular function that occur with aging, with the goal of setting the agenda for future research. Research from diverse disciplines are welcome, including genetics and molecular biology, temporal bone histopathology, physiology, systems neuroscience, and clinical research.
We are looking for articles related to how the vestibular system changes with age, what are the impacts of these changes to human health, and studies of potential interventions for age-related vestibular loss.
