The International Day of Happiness takes place on 20th March, commemorating the date on which the General Assembly of the United Nations proclaimed this day should recognize the relevance of happiness and well-being as universal goals and aspirations in the lives of human beings around the world.
The recognition of happiness and well-being as a human right is important when considering the provision of mental health services around the globe.
