Biological synthesis of nanomaterial’s is a relatively cheap, environmentally friendly, and safe method compared to other methods. Through these advantages, it has become a preferred method for researchers. In the biological synthesis method, bacteria, fungi, algae and different parts of plants are used to carry out the reduction reactions. The nanotechnological discoveries are able to open a novel range of applications in agriculture, biotechnology, and industry. Through the intercession of nanotechnology energy, electronics, biological sciences, agriculture, the transformation of food waste to energy, and other useful by-products through enzymatic nano-bioprocessing will be new opportunity fields.
It is projected to open up novel possibilities in a variety of disciplines, including: chemical and biological sensors; environmental sensors; air purifiers and filters; plant disease resistance; unfertilized perennial grasses; and water-purification technologies. This Research Topic aims to bring together new trends and studies in biological/chemical-based nanomaterials. This Topic welcomes recent advancement in biosynthesis, characterization of biological/chemical-based nanomaterials and their applications.
We welcome Original Research, Review, Mini Review and Perspective articles on themes including, and with particular interest in bio-based metallic nanoparticles, but not limited to:
• Synthesis characterization, application of novel biological/chemical-based metallic nanomaterials
• Application of biological/chemical-based metallic nanoparticles in environmental monitoring/remediation
• Green synthesis of metal nanoparticles
• Biological/chemical-based Metallic Nanoparticles for pesticide detection and removing
