The scope of this collection is recognizing the future leaders in the Parasitology field, in order to highlight the new generation of young scientists, their research topics, and to give us a hint at whom to follow in the future.
In particular, we aim to highlight research across all aspects of animal Parasitology and to present recent advances in clinical, diagnosis, therapy, prevention and monitoring of historically endemic, emerging and re-emerging parasitic diseases affecting domestic and wild animals and potentially humans.
The main areas to be included in this research topic, but not exclusively limited to, are:
- clinical parasitology
- diagnosis of parasitic diseases including traditional and advanced laboratory procedures
- treatment of parasitic diseases including tested drug protocols, innovative pharmacological approaches, studies on drug resistance, treatment monitoring among others
- prevention and surveillance: widely shared programs by Scientific Community, innovative approaches in controlling parasitic diseases
The high-quality works of internationally recognized researchers in the early stages of their careers will be considered and accepted after an editorial review.
This research topic will accept Original Research, Short Communication, Case Report, Review, Mini Review and Systematic Review.
