Frontiers have organised a Case Report series in Genitourinary Oncology to highlight unique cases of human or animal patients that present with an unexpected/ diagnosis, treatment outcome, or clinical course. This Research Topic focuses exclusively on Renal Cell Carcinoma which is the most common form and accounts for 90-95% cases of kidney cancer.
This Research Topic will only consider Case Report submissions and they must be original with the aim to significantly advance the field to be considered. All Case Reports should carry the title “Case Report: ‘area of focus’” to be considered for this Research Topic. We welcome all Case Reports to cover all aspects of Renal Cell Carcinoma.
Please note: manuscripts consisting solely of bioinformatics or computational analysis of public genomic or transcriptomic databases which are not accompanied by validation (independent cohort or biological validation in vitro or in vivo) are out of scope for this section and will not be accepted as part of this Research Topic.
