About this Research Topic
To protect the geo-environment under human influence, we call for both original research articles and comprehensive reviews that employ the latest theoretical research and practical methodology to improve the knowledge of (1): Real-time monitoring on Spatio-temporal changes of geohazards; (2) Field investigation and formation analysis of geohazards; (3) Risk evaluation and remediation techniques for geo-environment; (4) Policy managements of geo-environment protection. To enhance the breadth of the Research Topic, we are especially welcome to the interdisciplinary approaches between natural and social sciences.
Potential topics include but are not limited to the following:
1) Advanced real-time monitoring approaches for geohazards.
2) Formation mechanism and affecting factors of geohazards.
3) Spatio-temporal risk analysis for geo-environment by GIS technique.
4) Novel mathematical analysis and numerical simulation applied in risk evaluation for geo-environment.
5) Spatial-temporal prediction modeling and early warning of geohazards.
6) Field and laboratory techniques for geo-environment remediation.
7) Optimizing decision-making policy in the context of geo-environment protection.
