We are delighted to present the Rising Stars: Quantitative Psychology and Measurement 2021 article collection. This collection showcases the high-quality work of internationally recognized researchers in the early stages of their independent careers.
Although papers from all disciplines relating to Quantitative Psychology and Measurement are welcomed, specific attention will be devoted to the following points:
1) Interdisciplinary efforts aimed at a sensible use of statistical
mechanics inspired methods to individuate phase transition points along psychotherapy processes.
2) Application of complex network formalism in the definition of symptoms constellations and pathogenetic mechanisms.
3) Innovative application of multidimensional statistics to the analysis of questionnaires.
4) Data mining of unstructured data.
All Rising Star researchers were individually nominated by the Quantitative Psychology and Measurement editors in recognition of their potential to influence the future directions in their respective fields. The work presented here highlights the diversity of research performed across the entire breadth of Quantitative Psychology and Measurement and presents advances in theory, experiment and methodology with applications to compelling problems.
New articles will be added to this collection as they are published. Please note that contributions are decided by topic editors only. Please inform topic editors when you wish to submit a manuscript. Early career researchers are defined as within 10 years after completing their Ph.D., M.D., or other equivalent terminal degrees.
At the end of the collection, the Topic Editor Panel will evaluate the contributions received and present a signed certificated award to the most influential contribution to this collection. The winners published article will additionally be showcased on our website and through a media campaign.
