Crisis contexts, such as the one we live in triggered by the pandemic, and environmental, social, and economic challenges are a driver for entrepreneurship. Spirituality, when defined in terms of attitudes, practices, and behaviors, as well as a set of abilities and skills that allow individuals a greater ability to solve problems and achieve goals, came to be seen as an emerging topic in social sciences and administration.
Psychological Capital (PsyCap) enables individuals to sustain their entrepreneurial efforts and work, as a high PsyCap translates into lower anxiety and stress. Therefore, will be able to withstand the difficulties involved in entrepreneurship. Alongside PsyCap it is also important to note that the psychology of sustainability and sustainable development emphasizes a prevention approach and promotes well-being in individuals and organizations for sustainable development and global growth. Hence, also bearing in mind the 2030 Agenda, there is a need to add the concept of entrepreneurial psychological capital to research
outputs.
This Research Topic aims to provide a forum for discussion of new ideas and recent developments regarding the influence of spirituality and psychological capital on entrepreneurship around the globe. In addition, it also seeks to understand how these dimensions promote sustainability in organizations. Overall, we want to gain a broader and deeper understanding of the need to study the economic impact of entrepreneurship on societies, but also to recognize, at the individual level, the formation of new ventures and their structures.
