Although thrombotic diseases have been studied in the last years, the presence of anatomic variants and/or vascular malformations due to other diseases or particular conditions may always induce unexpected thrombotic events.
Furthermore, the endovascular or surgical treatment of each vascular malformation is still a matter of discussion in expert panels because the anatomic variability may offer different therapeutic chances.
We welcome all experts to report in this Research Topic their clinical experience in this field by submitting original research, reviews, and case reports on the following subjects, but not only:
• May-Thurner syndrome.
• Hemorrhagic hereditary telangiectasia (HTT) or other vascular rare diseases
• Typical or atypical aneurisms.
• Other relevant clinical conditions linking vascular malformations and thrombosis.
All clinical experiences may be useful to explore a section of vascular medicine in which there are no certainties.
