About this Research Topic
This Research Topic aims to shed light on the latest outstanding discoveries pertinent in a wide spectrum of neurosciences by presenting in-depth information on the different aspects of exosomes like composition, biogenesis, and trafficking and the use of exosomes in diagnosis and target specific delivery of therapeutic in neurodegenerative diseases. Exosomes hold promise to pave way for strategic development in the diagnosis and target specific delivery of therapeutic in neurodegenerative diseases.
This Research Topic will welcome contributions on, but not limited to, the following topics:
1. Exosomes composition, biogenesis and their role in facilitating transport of different cargo
2. Exosomes in physiological and pathological states of Neurodegenerative diseases
3. Exosomes in the progression of Neurodegenerative diseases
4. Exosomes based markers in the diagnosis of Neurodegenerative diseases
5. Exosomes in intracellular communication that influence pathologies of Neurodegenerative diseases
6. Therapeutic cargoes, methods of loading, and possible administration routes for therapeutic applications in Neurodegenerative diseases
