For example, redundancy resolution of industrial robots, simultaneous localization and mapping (SLAM) for mobile robots, dynamic and kinematic control of articulated robots, vibration suppression control of joint actuators, biofeedback signals processing for physical and/or cognitive interactions for human-robot. These techniques are beneficial to improve the stability, accuracy, intelligence, and efficiency of different types of robots for various tasks.
Advanced strategies for planning, control, and signal processing, are fundamental for granting reliable and promising performances based on the different types of robots.
Analyzing the underlying internal mechanisms (e.g., motion gearing and driving, task planning, and environment understanding) and suggesting new application paradigms will lead to a rapid evolution of the neurorobotics field, based on planning, control, and signal processing advanced strategies that will enhance robot’s performances during their tasks.
This Research Topic is devoted to collect state-of-the-art developments and research outcomes addressing the related theoretical and practical aspects regarding advanced methods and application planning, control and signal processing in a wide range of neurorobotic systems.
