About this Research Topic
Laser spectroscopy-based techniques have the advantages of high sensitivity, non-invasiveness and in situ, real-time observation. Furthermore, these techniques such as laser spectroscopy sensing and laser spectroscopy imaging have helped to promote its applications. Therefore, this Research Topic encourages papers about the novel research, technology, and in particular the advanced methods and novel applications of laser spectroscopy. Review articles which describe the current state-of-the-art are also encouraged. Potential topics include, but are not limited to the following:
1. laser-frequency comb spectroscopy
2. photoacoustic spectroscopy
3. photothermal spectroscopy
4. tunable diode laser spectroscopy
5. cavity-enhanced spectroscopy
6. laser-induced fluorescence spectroscopy
7. laser-induced breakdown spectroscopy
8. laser Raman spectroscopy
9. tunable laser sources for spectroscopy
10. heterodyne laser spectroscopy
11. laser imaging technique
12. laser gas sensing applications
13. laser imaging applications
Keywords: laser spectroscopy applications, laser spectroscopy sensing, laser spectroscopy imaging, high sensitivity, tunable laser sources
Important Note: All contributions to this Research Topic must be within the scope of the section and journal to which they are submitted, as defined in their mission statements. Frontiers reserves the right to guide an out-of-scope manuscript to a more suitable section or journal at any stage of peer review.
