This research topic has been organized in celebration of the 5th anniversary of the Canadian Neurophotonics Platform, a multi-institutional program for the creation and dissemination of new technologies and reagents to study brain cells and circuits using light.
We invite submissions focused on the use of optical approaches to probe neural organization, function, or plasticity. Studies at any level of nervous system organization from synapses to circuits to behavior are welcome. In particular, reports on the development of novel hardware, reagents, and strategies for neurophotonic investigation are enthusiastically encouraged. These can be technical or scientific reports, review articles or perspective pieces.
Researchers working on neuroscience-related topics utilizing microscopy or optogenetics are welcome to submit an abstract for consideration.
