The European Network of Breast Development and Cancer labs (ENBDC) fosters interactions between labs working on mammary gland development and cancer worldwide. To this end, ENBDC has annually organized a methodologically-oriented scientific meeting to enable presentation of the latest scientific results, dissemination of forefront technologies and cutting edge approaches, and discussion of central questions and challenges in the field of mammary gland development and breast cancer. The meeting brings together experts in the field and provides an opportunity for students and junior scientists to present their research in a friendly and collaborative environment.
The
Eleventh Annual ENBDC Workshop: Methods in mammary gland biology and breast cancer in Weggis, Switzerland, will be chaired by Zuzana Koledova from Masaryk University, Czech Republic, and co-chairs Emilia Peuhu from University of Turku, Finland, and Vida Vafaizadeh from University of Basel, Switzerland. The main focus of the meeting will be on epithelial morphogenesis, breast cancer signaling, tumor microenvironment, preclinical models of breast cancer, high-resolution genomics and proteomics tools, including single-cell sequencing and spatial transcriptomics, and optogenetics.
This Research Topic will bring together reviews, perspective and original research articles, methodology papers and commentaries related to the topics of the meeting.
