University of York forms publishing agreement with Frontiers – JISC national open access deal 

We would like to announce that the University of York has joined the national open access deal agreed between Jisc Collections and Frontiers.  This landmark deal provides a simplified and streamlined route to open access publishing for researchers in the UK, who publish 7% of the world’s research.    This institutional agreement means that eligible University of York researchers may publish in any Frontiers journal at no cost to them and with a simplified process.

Eberswalde University for Sustainable Development forms publishing agreement with Frontiers

Eberswalde University for Sustainable Development (Hochschule für nachhaltige Entwicklung Eberswalde) has formed an institutional membership agreement for open access publishing with Frontiers. The institutional agreement means that eligible researchers will benefit from a streamlined invoicing process, managed directly between Frontiers and the Open Access team at the Library of the Eberswalde University for Sustainable Development. The University Library at Eberswalde University for Sustainable Development supports its researchers in making their research more widely available. This agreement will further encourage Eberswalde University for Sustainable Development researchers to publish open access, increasing the volume of research openly available. Western Michigan University Homer Stryker M.D. School of Medicine forms publishing agreement with Frontiers

Colorado State University forms open access publishing agreement with Frontiers

UPDATE Feb 2023: Due to overwhelming demand, Colorado State University is no longer accepting funding requests at this time. CSU is exploring the feasibility of future opportunities to support researchers with article processing charges for Frontiers publications. For questions, please contact Khaleedah Thomas at Khaleedah.Thomas@colostate.edu. Colorado State University supports its researchers in making their research more widely available. As part of this support, Colorado State University Libraries has entered an institutional membership agreement for open access publishing with Frontiers. This institutional agreement means that eligible Colorado State University researchers may publish in any Frontiers journal at no cost to them. Articles may benefit from a 7.5% membership discount. To be eligible, a publication’s corresponding author must be affiliated with Colorado State University.
