Research in veterinary sciences in Kazakhstan (2018-2023): developments, gaps and opportunities

    This perspective paper provides a summary of the past history and present of veterinary research in Kazakhstan. The manuscript highlights the challenges faced by the country and the measures taken to over come those issues. The manuscript also described some of the existing gaps and provides a set of recommendations to continue support the development of veterinary research in the country.
