At present, the aging problem of Japan's population is deepening, and the risks brought by it have a profound impact on the sustainable development of Japan's macro economy. The public pension system, as a critical social security mechanism, plays a pivotal role in economic stability. Therefore, a thorough investigation into the impact of the pension system on the economy holds significant theoretical and practical implications. In this paper, based on economic growth theory and overlapping generations (OLG) models, corresponding models were con-structed to analyze the theoretical effects of the public pension system on Japan's macroeconomy, laying a foundation for future research. Leveraging an enhanced OLG-Cobb-Douglas model and considering Japan's current economic development stage, the study conducted parameter estimation and numerical simulations to assess the impact of the public pension system on macroeconomic development.
