How does mobility and urban environment affect the migrants' settlement intention? A perspective from the intergenerational differences

by Liang, X., Li, Q., Zuo, W., and Wu, R. (2024). Front. Public Health 12:1343300. doi: 10.3389/fpubh.2024.1343300

In the published article, there was an ambiguity in the Acknowledgment section. Yawen Chen, Shiyan Hong, Yanrong Qiu, Yueyi, Huang and Jingpeng Luo from Guangdong University of Technology were not mentioned in the Acknowledgments section.

The Acknowledgments section previously stated: “We sincerely thank the couples who participated in the study”.

The corrected Acknowledgment statement appears below:

Acknowledgments

“The authors express their profound gratitude to Yawen Chen, Shiyan Hong, Yanrong Qiu, Yueyi, Huang, and Jingpeng Luo from Guangdong University of Technology for their contributions to the research implementation. We appreciate their assistance in data cleaning and drafting of the original manuscript.”

In the published article, there was an error in the description of the scores.

A correction has been made to 3 Research design, 3.3.1 Settlement intention of migrants. This sentence previously stated:

“The responses measure the strength of the willingness of the migrant population to stay in the local area for the long term, with the scores ranging from 1 (“very unlikely”), 2 (“rather unlikely”), 2 (“uncertain”), 4 (“rather likely”), and 5 (“very likely”).”

The corrected sentence appears below:

“The responses measure the strength of the willingness of the migrant population to stay in the local area for the long term, with the scores ranging from 1 (“very unlikely”), 2 (“rather unlikely”), 3 (“uncertain”), 4 (“rather likely”), and 5 (“very likely”).”

The authors apologize for this error and state that this does not change the scientific conclusions of the article in any way. The original article has been updated.
