Back ground: The term "danger signs" refers to any symptoms or indicators that a pregnant woman may have that risk during pregnancy. Mothers are burden carriers and most of them are even not treated in case of complications that lead to the loss of their life. This indicates that there is something that hinders them from preparing them. In Ethiopia, different studies conduct on male involvement in pregnancy but do not asses knowledge of danger signs, and few study conducted on husband knowledge of obstetrical danger signs but still, there is a variation of variables. Objectives: To assess magnitudes of husband knowledge of obstetrical danger signs and their associated factor among husbands whose wives were pregnant and gave birth within the last 12 months at Raya Kobo District, North Wollo, Amara Ethiopia 2023 Methods: A community-based cross-sectional study design was conducted from April 29 up to May 30, 2023, in Raya Kobo District. Multi-stage stratified random sampling technique was used to select 626 samples. Data were analyzed using SPSS version 26.00 statistical software. Independent variables having P≤0.25 on the bivariate analysis were candidates for the multivariate analysis and p≤0.05 was taken as statistically significant Result: Knowledge in obstetric danger signs of the respondents had 46.3% (95 % CI:(42.6% to 50.3%)) good knowledge. Variables associated significantly with knowledge towards obstetric danger signs husband who attended secondary school ((AOR= 4.77, 95% CI, (1.42 -16.04)), who live in urban (AOR = 3.00, 95%CI= (1.59, 7.57), average monthly income between 3001 to 5000 birr (AOR = 3.35, 95% CI= (1.58, 7.12)) and more than five children (AOR=0.15, 95% CI= (0.05 -0.46)) were identified significant variables.Husbands' knowledge of obstetric danger signs in the Raya Kobo District was limited. The Educational status of the husband, average family income, residence, and number of children were significantly associated with the husband's knowledge of obstetric danger signs.
