Diasporas plays a significant role in the economic development of their home countries by facilitating foreign direct investment (FDI), transferring knowledge and overall economic growth through remittances. This conceptual analysis compares the transnational economic impact of the Indian and Pakistani Diasporas on their home countries, shedding light on the contributions of remittances, investments, and knowledge transfer to economic development and growth. The main objective is to analyze economic stability disparities between Pakistan and India, with a focus on their Diasporas' roles in national development. It tends to explore the means and strategies through which Pakistan can maximize its diaspora's potential for economic growth. The theoretical lens of neoliberalism is incorporated in the study. Neoliberalism focuses on free markets and globalization, which depicts the impact of different economic policies through which these Diasporas help their respective homelands. This exploratory study compares the Indian and Pakistani Diasporas, using diverse data sources to understand concepts, experiences, and opinions. The inclusion of qualitative and secondary data methods enhances the analysis by capturing individual narratives and subjective interpretations. The comparative analysis suggests that the Indian diaspora exhibits greater unity, prominence, and direct economic contributions compared to the more fragmented Pakistani diaspora, which focuses on diverse fields and financial support through remittances. Pakistan needs to foster unity among the diaspora through community-building initiatives and platforms for collaboration. Despite being organized differently, both groups help in their national economic development. This shows that they are both very important for their nation-state's economic growth and global reputation.
