A 61-year-old female patient presented with recurrent painless hematuria. Due to the suspicion of a malignant tumor in the left kidney, a robotic-assisted radical left nephroureterectomy was performed.Postoperative pathology revealed a cavernous hemangioma of the left kidney. Renal cavernous hemangiomas are exceedingly rare in clinical practice. It can easily be misdiagnosed as renal malignant tumor, which may lead to inappropriate surgical decisions and an elevated rate of total nephrectomy, resulting in significant consequences for patients. This case encountered at our hospital is reported here to provide insights for clinical diagnosis and treatment.
