ABSTRACT=<p>Gastric cancer is one of the most common cancers, while the current treatment options for gastric cancer are relatively scarce due to insufficient understanding of molecular characteristics and subtypes of gastric cancer. Different gene rearrangements of anaplastic lymphocyte kinase (<italic>ALK</italic>) have been reported in several types of cancer, especially in NSCLC. The first-generation <italic>ALK</italic> tyrosine kinase inhibitor (TKI) crizotinib, second-generation (ceritinib, alectinib, and brigatinib) and third-generation (lorlatinib) <italic>ALK</italic>-TKIs have been widely used for NSCLC patients with <italic>ALK</italic> rearrangement. However, little was reported about <italic>ALK</italic> mutation in gastric cancer (GC). Here we identified a novel form of <italic>ALK</italic> fusion, a case of GC with <italic>RAB10-ALK</italic> fusion, and this is the first report of <italic>ALK</italic> fusion in gastric cancer.</p>
