Interference between immune cells and insomnia:A Bibliometric Analysis from 2000 to 2023

    In the current manuscript, Tang et al. provides a bibliometric analysis on the association between insomnia and the immune system. Although the motivation is clear and the results are sufficiently presented, the analysis and the discussion do not seem comprehensive, as relevant literature is missing.Whether this is due to a personal choice, omission or data source limitations is not clear, but either way, this raises concerns regarding the true novelty/comprehensiveness of the manuscript. Please see my comments and suggestions below:1.It is unclear from the methods whether the literature search with the keywords were done with specifications (e.g. search only in title/abstracts). The total number of 481 publications identified sounds rather few for a span of 20 years. Is this due to data source limitations? While I do appreciate that the authors highlight this as a potential limitation of their manuscript, this may be a crucial shortcoming considering that the manuscript is meant to be a comprehensive overview of the literature.We appreciate the reviewer's insightful comment. Regarding the relatively small number of publications identified, we conducted multiple verifications and found that indeed only 481 relevant articles were available in the Web of Science Core Collection (WoSCC) database.
