ABSTRACT=Cantharellus subgenus Afrocantharellus (Cantharellales, Hydnaceae) has received few attention in China. With abundant collections made in the country, the morphology and phylogenetic relationships of species of the subgenus are investigated. Four species are recognized in China, three of them are described as new: C. bellus, C. cineraceus, and C. levigatus, and one of them is previously described taxon: C. hygrophoroides. A key to the known Chinese taxa of the subgenus is also provided.
