This manuscript presents a systematic literature review and meta-analysis examining the effectiveness of novel drug regimens for newly diagnosed, high-risk cytogenetic multiple myeloma (MM) patients. By reviewing 18 randomized controlled trials, the study highlights advancements in therapies, including next-generation proteasome inhibitors, immunomodulatory drugs, and CD38 antibodies, which show significant improvements in progression-free survival (PFS) and minimal residual disease (MRD) negativity. The findings emphasize the need for tailored strategies for high-risk MM, contributing valuable evidence to enhance clinical decision-making and improve patient outcomes. This analysis aligns with the journal's focus on hematology and oncology research, offering relevant insights for advancing targeted treatment in high-risk cancer populations.
