The final, formatted version of the article will be published soon.

In our recently published article "Associations of multi-human papillomavirus infections with expression of p16 in a cohort of women who underwent colposcopy: a retrospective study of 5165 patients" (Front Oncol. 2023 Oct 26;13:1265726. doi: 10.3389/fonc.2023.1265726), we have identified an error in the legend of Figure 1.The original legend incorrectly described the patient exclusion criteria and the final number of patients included in the study. This error was limited to the descriptive text in the figure legend and did not affect the data analysis, results, or conclusions presented in the article. The correct legend for Figure 1 should read as follows:"Figure 1. Flow chart of patient selection. A total of 5,165 patients who underwent colposcopy were initially enrolled. After excluding 1,033 patients due to insufficient clinical information or unsatisfactory colposcopy, 242 patients with a history of cervical cancer or precancerous lesions, and 308 patients with inadequate HPV or p16 testing results, the final study cohort comprised 3,582 patients."We apologize for any confusion this error may have caused. The original article has been updated with the corrected Figure 1 legend. This correction does not alter the scientific conclusions of the article in any way.We thank the readers for their understanding and remain committed to maintaining the highest standards of accuracy in our published work.
