In the original article, we accidentally included a reference in the wrong section. Pedlowski et al., 1997 has been removed from the Introduction, paragraph 6; however, it remains elsewhere in the text.

The authors apologize for this error and state that this does not change the scientific conclusions of the article in any way. The original article has been updated.
