Brief Biography

Bernd Weber is a neuroscientist and neurologist at the Department of Epileptology at the University Hospital of Bonn. After graduating from medical school in 2003, he worked as a research associate and in 2005 started as head of the neuroimaging platform at the Department of Epileptology and the Life&Brain Science Center at the University of Bonn including two MRI scanners. His research interests include plasticity of the human brain in clinical conditions, mainly epilepsy and human decision making by applying functional as well as structural MRI methods. In 2008 he became a research associate at the German Institute of Economic Research in Berlin. He is cofounder of the Center for Economics and Neuroscience in Bonn.
