Brief Biography
Graduated from University of California, Berkeley in 1974. Ph.D Professor at Toyohashi University of Technology, Japan for 1986 - 2003 and then became a visiting professor at the same university and the team leader of Neuroinfornatics Lab at RIKEN BSI. He is now also the Director of Neuroinformatics Japan Center.
