Brief Biography
I am currently working on the analysis of the response of auditory receptor neurons with statistical and information theoretical methods. We are interested in spike precision and variability, neural codes, symbols or pattern in the neural response and their relation with the stimulus, information carried by the patterns, the codes, disentangling relevant features trasnmited. I am doing my PhD in neuroscience at Instituto Balseiro, Bariloche Argentina, where previously I have obtained Master degree in Neuroscience and a diploma in Physics. Previously to Physics I started my studies in Electrical Engineering at the National Technological University, and I got a diploma as an Electromechanical Technician from my secondary school. Before starting my PhD I have been working as a Guest Scientist at Institute forTheoretical Biology - Humboldt Universität, for four months, carrying out single neuron experiments.
